A 4K monitor has a resolution of 3840 * 2160, and signals with a width less than 3840 cannot be called 4K, and signals with a height less than 2160 cannot be called 4K. The same 4K signal also has different differences, such as whether the frame rate is 30Hz or 60Hz, whether the color space is YUV or RGB, etc. These will bring more significant differences in image quality for display devices with very good display effects. Taking the common HDMI connection method as an example, the maximum value of HDMI2.0 parameters is 60Hz, and the parameters at 60 frames are twice as high as HDMI1.4 and 30 frames. The picture quality and details are much better, and the higher the frame rate, the smoother the picture. Moreover, when moving the perspective quickly, the residual image at 60 frames is much smaller than that at 30 frames, and the higher the value, the closer the picture is to the real world observed by the human eye.

But now, 8k has already come out. In 2020, the State Key Laboratory of TV and Audio Production, Broadcasting and Presentation at the main station and Hisense successfully developed 4K UHD monitors, whose technical quality is comparable to that of international advanced products, filling in the technology of our country's 4K UHD professional monitors at one stroke.
